1) PR Plan for Panera Bread: For one of my classes at the University of Oregon, I had to create an entire, thorough PR plan for Panera Bread following their supercharged lemonade controversies to help salvage their reputation. I had to do a lot of research and analysis in order to produce this plan that would help them regain trust within their target audiences, and this is the end result:
2) Media Pitching: For a different class I took at the University of Oregon, I had to practice reaching out to media outlets to get news coverage for my potential client. For this project, I had to come up with a press release for a local company (I chose the company I work for; Good Clean Love), find a real person to reach out to as a media contact by finding someone who has covered topics similar to the ones we were pitching, create a dropbox link full of photos as well as a video interview that I took myself, and finally draft an email to the reporter containing all these assets in a compelling way that would make them want to cover our topic in the news.
